Kelly Reed, PhD
Principal Consultant
With a focus on development and planning at C-suite, Board, and executive levels, Kelly’s body of work has centered on improving insights, alignment, and outcomes of leaders, top teams, and organizations. She has spent her career consulting with for-profit and non-profit organizations around the world on talent, culture, and performance initiatives. Her industry experience is broad-ranging and includes private equity, healthcare, financial services, design build, manufacturing, professional services, technology, retail, and hospitality, ranging from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Throughout her career, Kelly has led engagements focused on executive and team effectiveness, leadership assessment, succession planning, leadership development, strategy formation, organizational assessment and design, and culture transformation. Prior to joining Summit, Kelly served as a consultant and market executive for CMA Global for over a decade, then went on to build a talent and culture center of excellence for Lockton Companies, a global, multi-billion-dollar professional services firm.
Kelly holds a PhD and master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Saint Louis University, where she also served as an adjunct professor in the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business. She received a BA in Psychology from Truman State University. Kelly frequently serves as an invited keynote presenter and expert panelist on topics related to talent and culture at conferences nationwide.
