Michael de Vihil, PsyD
Managing Consultant
Throughout his 20+ year career, Michael has specialized in leadership advisory work, executive assessment, coaching, talent development, and employee engagement. He offers a global perspective, having worked across diverse industries—including financial services, healthcare, and consumer goods—throughout the USA, EMEA, and APAC regions. Known for his emotional intelligence, psychological expertise, agility, and situational self-awareness, Michael collaborates effectively with leaders at all levels to unlock their full potential.
Before joining Summit Leadership Partners, Michael spent over 13 years at Korn Ferry as a Principal Consultant in Leadership Advisory. There, he honed his ability to support leaders by integrating servant leadership principles with a growth mindset, supported by his multicultural consulting experience.
Michael holds a Psy.D. and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). He earned a B.S. in International Business and Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business, where he also studied abroad in Japan and earned a Certificate in Japanese Business Management. Additionally, he holds an executive coaching certification from the Executive Coach Academy in New York City and is certified in numerous assessment tools.
