Forbes: Meet America’s Best Management Consulting Firms 2022

Established in 2014, Summit Leadership Partners is one of the youngest firms to make the list. In this Forbes article, Dan Hawkins comments:
“Summit’s fresh perspective gives it a competitive edge. He says the 22-person consultancy has doubled its bottom line each year since its founding and is on track to reach its 2022 revenue projections by April. Hawkins says Summit has reached a largely untapped audience by targeting middle-market, high-growth companies.
“Most consultancies are chasing down Fortune 500s, but right below that is a really underserved market,” he says. “There’s no reason why companies that are smaller in size shouldn’t have access to expert advisory capabilities.”
He says his team is also diverse by design, made up of lifelong consultants, as well as former executives, MBA grads, and psychology majors. As Summit hires to meet the increase in demand for consultancies, the challenge, Hawkins says, will be to grow without sacrificing the firm’s ability to stay nimble.
To determine the list, Forbes partnered with Statista to survey more than 7,500 partners and executives of the management consultancies that applied for the award, as well as 1,300+ senior executives who had worked with the management consultancies and have been their clients over the last four years. These partners and executives were asked to recommend consultancies and self-nominations were not considered, ensuring the award rankings were unbiased.
Over 1,800 management consulting firms were considered for this ranking.
